When you first log in to our site, you will be asked to select the IELTS Academic Training test or the IELTS General Training test, or this will be selected for you as a British Council user.
Most users do not need to change this, because most people take only one type of test.
It is not possible to change your exam type on the site once you have created your account. However, if you message our Support team, we can change this for you, if necessary.
Use the chatbot button in the bottom right-hand corner of any page of the site, or email us on support@gelielts.com with your request.
