If you are having difficulties hearing the audio in Listening tests on the platform, here are some possible solutions:
- Make sure that the sound is not muted on the website:
- Make sure that the volume is high enough on your computer.
- Make sure that you have a strong enough internet connection / wifi signal. If you have a weak wifi signal, you should consider using a cable (LAN / Ethernet). If you have a weak Internet connection, you should consider finding a location with a better connection.
- Check your output device settings - i.e. which speakers/headphones your computer is using to play the audio. Make sure they are working properly. You can test them on this site.
- Use a computer rather than a mobile device and use Google Chrome or Firefox browsers for the best functionality.
- Keep in mind that some Listening audio sections have long pauses. Make sure to wait to see if the audio plays.
