It's not an easy question! But the simplest answer is - Familiarisation, Practice, Feedback and our AI Mini Mock test!
Our AI Mini Mock test allows you to see an estimated score for all four skills, including detailed AI feedback on Speaking and Writing. This quick assessment helps you quickly identify your strengths and areas for improvement. Read this article to find out more and start your Mini Mock test today!
For Familiarisation, make sure you:
- Understand every part of all four IELTS skills tests (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking).
- Understand how to answer all the question types in each one.
- Know how to manage your time in each test.
- Read articles and news on topics related to the IELTS exam.
For Practice:
- Do as much practice as you can on the website. Use the 'Practice' section. After some time, look at your 'History' page. Can you see improvement?
- Go back and redo questions you did badly in before. You might remember some answers, but it's a good exercise anyway. We have a lot of materials on the site, so you can do plenty of practice with new examples.
Our Guided Skills courses have combined familiarisation and practice in one place, so it's the most efficient way to practise. Click on the 'Study' section, choose Course and select the skill you want to practise. You can watch/go to classes, and do training and exam practice to help you to improve.
For Feedback:
- Get scoring and feedback on all your Speaking and Writing practice to identify strengths, address weaknesses, and improve your performance.
If you want AI scoring and feedback for Speaking and/or Writing, you can buy a Gateway or Advantage FlexCheck AI package. Go to profile and then package to see your options. You will then receive feedback on your work, including anything saved on your History page, until your IELTS exam day.
