Where can I take mock tests on the site?

We have a bank of 40 full mock tests (25 Academic and 15 General Training). You can take the tests as a mock (timed exam conditions) or practice (take as long as you want).

All users can also now take the AI Mini Mock Test for feedback and scoring on all four skills, including detailed AI feedback on Speaking and Writing. Read the article to find out more and start your Mini Mock Test today!

You can access mock tests in the Practice section on your sidebar menu. Choose the skill, and then choose Take a mock test.

For Reading and Listening, take a mock test with or without timed exam conditions.

Check your answers in the History area by clicking on view result next to the task you have just completed. Click on the ⓘ icon to see feedback on why your answer was right or wrong for any particular question.

For Writing, take a mock test with or without exam conditions. You can then see your work and example answers in the History area.

For Speaking, listen to the examiner asking the questions and record and review your responses:

Access all your recorded Speaking work from the History area of the menu.

If you want AI scoring and feedback for any Speaking or Writing practice you have done, you can buy a Gateway or Advantage FlexCheck AI package. You will then receive a breakdown of your score based on the IELTS marking criteria, along with a vocabulary analysis. With an Advantage package, you will also receive detailed written feedback and pronunciation correction.
